I have been observing some important changes in the orkut lately. I could still remember the orkut in 2005 when it is fairly new to everyone. All we get was just a profile page with some no restrictions communities, but now orkut has many Api interfaces and mashups taking place.

To say in a marketing point of view, orkut has evolved from its web1.0 structure to web2.0 structure. It has got ajax forms, applications, events, restrictions on scrapbooks, albums as required by the individual and many more.

Now, orkut has also thought of taking care about the offensive content in profiles, communities etc. As a result the following feature is added recently about the Offensive content.
