This method that has been posted by iSpazio will enable you to record video using Cycorder, which will end up directly in the photographic film iPhone which can be edited and cut just as iPhone 3GS. The function is regulated by a practical Toggle for SBSettings and then all the details are provided to install the mod.

Pocket Universe: is a 3D star map app for ($3) the iPhone 3GS, where you get complete astronomical augmented reality. It uses location services including, accelerometer data and the 3GS’s compass. Pocket Universe provides information about your stars, planets, constellations and general celestial objects things according to your preferences.
Seek ‘n Spell: is similar to the games for any other portable device and does not necessarily augment the non-gaming capabilities of the handset. Example: A location map is overlaid with letters and you want to interpret with words for collecting points which is very similar to Scrabble. This can be done by physically running your fingers through the alphabetic icons on touchscreen.
MSNBC: emphasizes on video content as well as Twitter feeds from MSNBC personalities. It is a free app which occasionally stutters, but it works fine. This iPhone app is an MSNBC product that uses Microsoft’s Advanced Technologies.
Fluent News: is similar to Google News including, collecting important news from several sources and grouping it sensibly for better viewership. Fluent is a free app and can cache the news for offline reading including, for plans, subways, caves or wherever. It also pre-fetches longer articles which are published with uncanny perception and all relevant data that could augment the users queries.
Skype: is another extremely popular app that comes free with live updates and augmented interface. The two most useful features for people who use Skype’s pay services include, text messaging with SkypeOut credit and Skype Voicemail support. The Voicemail support is easily accessible that is better than being out of touch completely.
Air Sharing Pro: is a solid file storage or viewing solution in its basic form. The Pro version is first of all very expensive at $10 but comes with several add on features including, expanded support for file storage services like, MobileMe, MyDisk and Drop.io.
Mainly, there are several new file functions including, emailing, direct printing via OS X printer sharing. The archiving abilities, include viewing archive contents without extracting. It is similar to a walled-in version of Finder and come closest to a proper file browser that you can get on a non-jailbroken iPhone.
Loopt: iPhone app is free and has been popular as one of the only useful friend locating apps. But it isn’t quite the same without GPS and its Wi-Fi location is really complicated.

You need to have a complete access to forums, search, personal message system of your iPhone file system so that you can browse through the files on your iPhone, drag and drop stuff onto it just like Explorer and copy your MP3s and movies back to your hard drive. In your quest to ‘jailbreak’ your iPhone make sure that iPhone and computer are operating on the same network. Jailbreaked means you get access to the iPhone’s firmware and then read it how you like it.
Jailbreaking is more like a cat and mouse game. This method also allows the writing of files to the root directory, where the iPhone stores files that are specific to the user rather than the operating system. This includes the Media folder, where images, iTunes tracks and all kinds of fun stuff are stored. The technical steps required to enable custom ring tones, wallpapers and more for your iPhone is highlighted. Jailbreaking your iPhone File System automatically tracks the posts you have read and saves your time.
- First, turn on your iPhone and open the OpenSSH app which has an icon looking like a light-bulb switch. Check the OpenSSH is on “On” or “I.”
Next, close SSH and now open the Preferences. Then, go to Wi-Fi and turn it on to select your network and connect to it.
- If you are still in the Wi-Fi preferences, hit the blue circular arrow on your selected network. You will now see a couple of options and addresses, which includes the IP address of your iPhone. It is important to note down your IP-address as you will later need it.
- Put aside your iPhone, but make sure it stays on for the duration of this tutorial. Touch it once or twice every 30 seconds intermittently.
Finally, open your FTP Client and create a new connection and use this info for your connection.
1. Protocol: SFTP
2. Server: The IP-address you noted from your iPhone
3. Username: root
4. Password: alpine
The unlocking feels so close now that you can almost touch it.
- Now, hit “Connect” and there you are right in the iPhones file system.

The Apple iPhone is a powerful mobile device that runs on a powerful operating system. There are over 35,000 apps for the iPhone, including, stunning graphics, effects, and ‘free memory’. The Free Memory on an iPhone can be increased by restarting the device once per day. You could be running an application while listening to songs and definitely the application would have crashed. This has happened to several users and how it can be avoided.
Generally, your iPhones memory resources are eaten up when you run programs and close them. The Free memory application allows you to free the runtime memory on the iPhone. Now, Runtime memory is the memory required to run the iPhone processes. The iPhone comes with a 128 mb runtime. Due to large requirement of system processes, there are only few mb’s left for running the applications. The low availability of runtime memory to run those particular applications results in crashing, hanging, safari suddenly quitting etc.
There are several applications including, iPod player, Phone application, Mail application and the Safari Web Browser that run continuously in the background even when closed and this is the reason the iPhone suffers with crashing applications. Therefore, by increasing Free memory, it allows you to run your applications and processes without any problems like hang and crashing. Also one thing I noticed in this application is that after freeing the memory the phone works much faster and the game speed improves, drastically.
How to Apply:
As you open the application you will see a button ‘Free Memory’ and above that you will see the available free memory which is already calculated as you open the application and tap on the button and the runtime memory would be freed. So there’s no need to reboot your iPhone again and again if your application crashes or hangs, just open the app and click free memory and your problem would be solved within seconds. The other feature in the new version is to see the processes which are currently running on the iPhone. It also shows the battery level of the iPhone in percentage mode.
IMPORTANT NOTE to users with OS 2.2: If you have less than 4 MB available, freeing memory may take about 1-2 minutes, or it may cause a reset.
