Take your tuitions seriously

If you have many activities planned, you need to have a strategy in place to manage those swimming classes in the morning, extra study hours post school and piano/hobby classes in the evening . This is where your tutor and your response to him or her can help you.

Treat your tutor the way you treat your school teacher . Be punctual. Take your time with him or her seriously and get all your assignments done.
Feel free to clear any doubts you have.
Tuition/coaching can be difficult for some, but it s all up to you. pay attention and concentrate.
A tuition centre is also a place where you meet students from other schools. keep track of what and how others are being taught . Go through their notes, question papers, projects etc, to know more about the subject and new ways to learn it.

Brush up your social skills

When Mansi Gupta,former regional manager of HDFC Bank saw around 95 per cent of the candidates being rejected during interviews at the bank year after year ,due to problems in communication and personality projection, she decided to set up a grooming school.The school focuses on arming students with confidence , communication skills and business etiquette.

“It was heartbreaking to see candidates being rejected because they could not impress the interviewers,”said Gupta adding, “It was then that the need for a training institute struck me . A place where students would be taught how to face an interview .”

To day , her school trains people not only on how to conduct themselves but also on how to carry themselves in their day-to-day lives. She is not alone in her endeavour .

Says Pria Warrick , “Most people assume that anyone with a degree in IT or law can make it. But statistics reveal that you require 15 percent technical skills and 85 percent of a mix of social , business and dining etiquette to advance in your career or personal life .”

So what do these grooming institutes teach a student and why are interviewees rejected ? According to Nishant Saxena there are several reasons why an interview can be rejected .”The first could be their inability to listen properly because instead of concentrating on the question till the end, they start thinking of the answer and end up giving an inappropriate response .Then, there may be a problem in their attitude , inability to handle the interview.”

Therefore teaching conversational English is a prime focus area. Students also get a hands-on experience in the corporate world . Says priyanka Batra, a young student who took a grooming course , “It s just a short programme (six months) but it has changed my life and my persona.”

Solution for avoiding eamcet.nic.in from taking too long to respond

So friends, now that all of you might start updating and exercising your online options. Some of you might suceed but most of you failed in exercising options mostly because of two options:- eamcet

1. Eamcet servers are taking too long to respond (or)
2. The internet cafe you are accessing from are not enough fast to have your options locked.

I personally tested the counselling pages and the allocated seats etc, and got few tips to share with you folks,
so dont forget to share with your friends too.

Tips:

Solution to avoid the eamcet server problem is by accessing your options at night after 9:30 or 10.
Dont forget to save options after selecting every course and college. Failure in this may cause your session get expired and you may fail in logging back.
To view your previous options click on the “LAST SAVED OPTIONS” option available on the menu bar.
To select branches from other districts, select the “last saved options” again instead of logging out and logging in back.
you can also input an option in between, by selecting the “IN BETWEEN SELECTIONS” option.
you can also use the alternate site at the following address to exercise your options. http://164.100.12.132/apeamcet .
